Camping in Sweden

Sweden is known for having nice camp grounds on different levels.

Hölick havresort #

Holick.se is a sea resort with chalets, tipi-tents, cabins, places for RV’s and also a place for tents. One can rent a place for a tent including electricity and do Glamping. And it is estonishing cheap. Many more activities are offered, but the nature is good enough for walks. 2 good restaurants in reach.

The beach is about 300 meters from the camp ground and offers good waves. It is not a shallow beach, hence water temperature is low.

Obs: the center Lagune has a kitchen with a fan that is noisy. Walk around the tent place and listen for the sound. Half of the place is quieter.

It is about 30 km from the E4, a bit too long to reach the closest city by bicycle.

Rörbäck camping #

It is a resort at the norther end of Norrbotten. The beach is close to the camp ground and the water is shallow. Usually it is quite warm. 3 simple cabins are for rent, most of the place is used by RV’s and camping trailers with a lot permanent residents. Tents are in a small forest area - hence hammocks might be a better choice. No electricity is available for tents. Personal is very friendly. No extras.

Most of the campers are Swedes, and it is rather quiet place.
